To achieve a better experience, charge when using the USB-C hub via the original PD charger of the MacBook.
USB 3 is not recommended. 0 Type-A ports for charging. The USB 3.0 port is mainly used for data transfer.
When fully charged USB C hub, a surface temperature of up to 45 degrees Celsius is possible. This is completely normal for adapters and hubs.
The performance of the final resolution of HDMI output depends on the resolution supported by your host devices (only if your laptop and monitors support 4K resolution, video output is 4K).
